Community Art Projects

As a founding member of Artist UNITED, I am excited to announce “The Walls We Build,” a month-long, tri-county series of events that examine the ways that humans divide themselves from one another. In June 2018, all Art Walk nights in Raleigh, Durham, Carrboro, Chapel Hill, and Hillsborough, North Carolina, will participate in this theme through gallery and pop-up exhibitions, performances, and literary readings. Our intent is to give artists a platform to examine the kinds of walls that we build in hopes of dismantling the ways we divide ourselves from one another. Learn more at ArtistUNITED.org.
